  • Software Delivery Administrator

    As a member of the Infrastructure Department, the Software Delivery Administrator will assure a determining role in the structure, efficiency, and administration of Unicenter Software Delivery solutions, including coordination and choice over evolutions with his/her counterpart in the Essilor Group. Primary responsibilities will be the maintenance and support of Essilor’s Unicenter Asset Management and Software Delivery servers in the Americas and preparation of Nationals for all subsidiaries under Americas and maintenance and evolutions to the Essilor corporate PC clone. The Software Delivery Administrator will provide 3rd level support over the Essilor corporate PC clone. Scripting changes to the corporate clone, software packages and USMT determining root cause analysis of issues and finding permanent resolution in coordination with worldwide counter parts. Candidate should maintain a high level of expertise on current and emerging technologies. Acting as a technical leader in this area, his/her strategy will have to be in line with the overall technical architecture of the Information System, as well as with the operational requirements and business needs. Candidate will assist both the Technical Architecture and Pre-Production departments in developing the road map and methodology in these areas

As a member of the the Infrastructure Shared Services , the Senior Network engineer will assure a determining role in the design and implementation of network solutions in Essilor, specifically in the zone called AMERA (Asia, Middle East, Africa, Russia). The Senior Network Engineer will be highly involved in modernising sites (WAN, LAN, Wifi, Firewall…). His/Her mission will be to actively participate to the regional deployment of the new links on all sites as well as the technical migration and testing with the selected operator(s). He/She will provide technical operations related to migrations, hence technical expertise is required. He/She will provide assistance in the transfer to Support team. The Senior Network Administrator Senior will be also the senior escalation point for technical issues, will contribute to life cycle management on existing solutions and to qualification/validation of new solutions.

He/she will be positioned as a technical design authority in the organization, using also his/her expertise for highest level of escalation in case of problems. This person must have deep knowledge in infrastructure technologies and in OpenText features, and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 100+ servers throughout Asia.

To support the Business, the Group IT is developing an IT Shared Services Center (ESSPI) to deliver IT (in particular Infrastructure) services to internal business units (“Customers”) in ESSILOR Group and all its subs. ESSPI is looking for an IT Infrastructure Senior System Administrator to support Systems, Network and Security systems. As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services, the IT Infrastructure Senior System Administrator will report to the Team Leader and will assure a determining role in build out, and maintain production infrastructure and test environments on Systems, Network, and Security. He/she will be positioned as a level 3 in the organization, using his/her expertise for ultimate level of escalation in case of incidents and for the contribution in the qualification of new solutions, assisting in the deployment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. This person must have deep knowledge in Network equipments (Cisco), System administration (Windows and Linux), and in VMWare technologies. This person must have good knowledge in Infrastructure solutions, with a strong experience in delivering services, and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments.

He/she will be positioned as a level 2 in the organization, using his/her expertise for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network product. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services. This person must have good knowledge in Operating Systems, Monitoring, and Backup technologies and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 600+ remote locations throughout EUROPE, Asia, US, Latam and Canada.
